Onboarding Form

To begin, you will be asked to complete a short onboarding form. This allows us to set up your connection securely and according to your reporting needs.

We recommend checking out this quick guide (also below) first to ensure you have everything you need to complete the onboarding form.

What happens in this step:

  • You provide basic organization details.

  • You share the necessary access credentials or follow our easy instructions.

  • You specify any configuration preferences, such as data, calendar and KPI preferences.

Making Your Data Accessible

Before data can be pulled into ASK BOSCO®, we need to access the relevant data accessible in each.

  • You confirm that access is enabled.

Platform-specific instructions for enabling API access can be viewed here

  • Our CS Team initiate the connection(s)

Data Collection via Connector(s)

Once access is granted, our connector begins collecting your data securely from the source platform.

How this works:

  • The connector authenticates using the details you provided.

  • Data is retrieved on a scheduled basis.

  • Only the datasets required for reporting are extracted.

  • Data pulls are monitored to ensure reliability and accuracy.

Data Pipeline: Cleaning, Transforming & Storing

Once your data is collected and loaded into our data warehouse, we use dbt (data build tool) to transform it into clean, reliable, and analysis-ready datasets.

What dbt does in this process:

  • Transforms raw data using SQL-based models that follow clear, modular logic.

  • Applies standardization (e.g., formatting dates, normalizing values, harmonizing identifiers).

  • Builds curated models which are the tables used in your new reporting.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Before going live, we validate the data and confirm that reporting meets your expectations.

During UAT we:

  • Review initial dashboards, datasets, or metrics.

  • Compare sample figures with your source platform.

  • Identify, report and fix any discrepancies or adjustments needed.

  • Approve when the setup is ready for production use.

Reporting Goes Live

Once UAT is approved, your reporting suite becomes fully available.

You can expect:

  • Access to interactive dashboards and insights.

  • Automated data refreshes aligned with the connector schedule.

  • Continued monitoring and maintenance to ensure data quality.

This process ensures your data flows securely and reliably from your source platform into ASK BOSCO®. Each stage has been designed to minimise setup effort while ensuring high data quality and reliable reporting.
