Getting Started with Shopify Reporting in ASK BOSCO®
This guide walks you through how to connect your Shopify store to ASK BOSCO® and what to expect during the onboarding process. Once connected, you’ll be able to explore your Shopify data, build reports, and use AI Analyst to answer questions about your performance.
Before you begin
To connect Shopify, you’ll need:
- Admin access to your Shopify store
- Permission to install apps
- Access to your email to complete setup
Step 1 – Find ASK BOSCO® in Shopify
Go to the Shopify App Store and search for ASK BOSCO®.
Once you’ve found the app, click Install to begin the setup process.

Step 2 – Install the app
During installation, Shopify will ask you to approve permissions (also known as scopes).
These permissions allow ASK BOSCO® to securely access your store data, such as:
- Orders and sales data
- Products and inventory
- Customer transactions
Click Install to continue.

Step 3 – Select a billing plan
You’ll be prompted to choose a billing plan after installation.
- A free trial may be available depending on your setup
- Billing details and plan structure may vary, so if you’re unsure, check with your account manager
Step 4 – Access the connectors page
After installing the app, you’ll receive a welcome email with a link to the ASK BOSCO® platform.
From here, you’ll be taken to the connectors page, where your Shopify connection will begin processing.

Step 5 – Add additional data sources (optional)
If you’d like to combine Shopify with other platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Meta, GA4, Klaviyo), you can submit a request via the connectors form.
Connecting additional sources allows you to:
- See full funnel performance
- Compare channels against revenue
- Build more advanced reports

Step 6 – Log in or create your account
You’ll be prompted to either:
- Log in to an existing ASK BOSCO® account
- Or create a new account
Once completed, you’ll be able to access your workspace.
Step 7 – Explore the welcome page
After logging in, you’ll land on the welcome page, which gives you an overview of:
- Your connected data sources
- Setup progress
- Next steps
This is your starting point before moving into reporting.

Step 8 – Data processing and connection
Once Shopify is connected, your data will begin to sync.
- For smaller stores, this may take a few hours
- For larger stores, it may take longer depending on data volume
You’ll receive an email notification once your data is ready.
