AI Analyst
ASK BOSCO®’s smart assistant that answers questions using your data, helping you find insights quickly without needing technical skills.
Answer
A saved result from a search, presented as a visualisation such as a table, chart, or graph.
Authentication
The process of verifying a user's login credentials to access ASK BOSCO®.
Budget Planner
Lets you model different marketing spend scenarios to see how budget changes may impact results.
Competitor Benchmarking
Compares your performance against selected competitors using metrics like traffic share and ad spend.
Dashboard
A collection of saved Answers (charts, tables, visualisations) arranged into a dashboard-style view for easy monitoring and sharing.
Dataset
A structured collection of related data, typically organised in tables. Each column represents a variable (e.g., campaign name, clicks), and each row contains a record.
Filter
A condition applied to narrow down results — for example, filtering by date range, platform, or campaign type.
Formula
A custom expression or calculation applied to your data — often used for metrics like revenue per click or cost per conversion.
Group Aggregation
Allows you to summarise a metric based on a specific attribute (e.g., total sales by region). Also referred to as a pinned or level-based measure.
Impression
In ASK BOSCO®, an impression occurs when a user interacts with the platform — such as entering a search or loading a dashboard.
Index Score
A single score that summarises marketing performance, used to compare competitors.
Model
The underlying structure of your data — formed by linking data sources (e.g., ad spend, revenue) so they can be used together in reporting.
Search
The act of querying your data in ASK BOSCO®, similar to how you’d use a search engine — but designed for business data insights.
Token
The individual components entered into the search bar — including column names, metrics, or formulas.
User
An individual with access to ASK BOSCO®. Users must be authenticated to log in.
Visualization
A graphical representation of data — including bar charts, tables, pie charts, and more. Often created from Answers.
